Everyone who visits us, is acquainted with us, or knows that our chef loves to vary his dishes according to the day, is offered our “trust” menu, a fixed-price tasting session to be enjoyed with your eyes closed. The menu, depending on the price that has been set, comprises six, seven or even eight courses. As a minimum, there is a welcome dish, two appetizers, an entrée, a main course, and a dessert. Ciro, our chef, will put together a taste itinerary depending on the day and the inspiration he feels in that moment. Before the chef begins the tasting session, Stefania, our head waitress, will check if you have any particular requirements, such as intolerances and allergies, preferences or dislikes, for example whether or not you are keen on raw fish.

Food and wine enthusiasts know that on the island of Ischia the typical dish comes not from the sea but from the land: Ischian-style rabbit. The island’s rabbits, as they are bred as deep-burrowing rabbits, have better flavour and texture in their meat than cage-bred rabbits. At Il Saturnino we offer rabbit tasting sessions, revisited by our chef, composed of three rabbit-based dishes (grilled loin, stuffed agnolotti ravioli, and grilled leg of rabbit) plus a final dessert of your choosing. For the tasting session our chef likes to use all parts of the rabbit, including the offal, in the ravioli. Our Rabbit Menu is very affordable.
